New Wine into New Wine Skin (Popular opinion or revelation from God?)

One of the principles of life is that every new way of living requires new understanding and new ways of doing things. E,g, the disciples did not need to fast while Jesus was with them, but they would fast when Christ left them (Mark 2:18-22).
What has let most people down in life is popular opinion.
Popular opinion is a misinterpretation of God’s word which lacks rhema and the life of God. Hence, souls are perishing. Jesus corrected popular opinions, e.g., on marriage and the Resurrection (Matt 22:23-33).
How do we obtain the rhema and the revelation of God?
As a gift from God to those who are born again (e.g., Matthew 16:13-20
Through the teachings of Christ (e.g., Matt 28:19-20).
