There is Sabbath rest for God's People (Forgiven, transformed, & in service to God)

It is a sacred period of cessation from regular work and labour for physical renewal, spiritual reflection, and trust in His provision here on earth and in the world to come (Rev 14:13). Our church is moving towards God's Sabbath rest; we must therefore do our best to understand this subject and enter that rest. Satan is working hard to frustrate and make it hard for people to enter into the service of God.

Text Hebrews 4:6-11; Matthew 11:28-32;

JOSHUA could not give the people rest because he was still dealing with them towards repentance ( Joshua 24:19-28).

Jesus gives the same invitation to all those who are weary and burned (Matthew 11:28-32).

Many people are burdened these days with sins, hard labour, crises, depression, etc. The Sabbath rest is given to those who have repented, transformed, and are doing the work of God (E.g, John 15:3; Rev 14:13): Forgiven, transformed, and in service to God.

Asa and the reformed community of Israel (2 Chronicles 14-16).
They did what was right in the eyes of God, and so the community prospered and was at peace.
